My Camera Bodies
Choosing the Right Camera for the Job
Cameras are the foundation of any photographer’s kit, and for me, having the right body for the job makes all the difference. I use a combination of full-frame mirrorless and medium format to give me versatility across different shooting environments.
The Canon R5 is my go-to for high-speed, hybrid work, while the Fujifilm GFX 100S II delivers unmatched detail and dynamic range for studio and fine art photography. Each of these cameras serves a distinct purpose, and together they give me the flexibility to capture everything from fast-paced portraits to ultra-high-resolution commercial work.

Canon EOS R5
The Canon R5 has been my workhorse for years, and it’s still one of the best mirrorless cameras on the market. With its 45MP full-frame sensor, fast autofocus, and incredible 8K video capabilities, it’s perfect for everything from product photography to portraits and travel content. The dynamic range and color science are top-tier, making it an easy go-to for professional work.

Fujifilm GFX 100S II
My latest addition, and an absolute beast for studio and fine art photography. The Fujifilm GFX 100S II offers medium format quality in a surprisingly compact body. The 102MP sensor delivers unparalleled detail, perfect for commercial product photography, editorial work, and high-end prints.

If you love Fuji colors and need extreme detail, it’s an amazing investment
My Camera Lenses
Choosing the Right Lens for the Job
Your camera is only as good as the glass you put on it. Lenses shape the way you see and capture the world, and choosing the right one can make all the difference. I keep a mix of zooms and primes to cover a wide range of shooting situations.
I love the flexibility of a 24-70mm zoom, the character of a Lomography Petzval 55mm, and the crisp perfection of a fast prime like the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2. Each lens in my kit has a specific purpose, helping me adapt to different projects and creative needs.

Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L
My go-to for architecture, interiors, and landscapes. The sharpness is unreal, and the wide aperture makes it versatile in low light. The autofocus is snappy, and it pairs perfectly with the Canon R5.
Recommended for: Real estate, architecture, environmental portraits

Canon RF 35mm F1.4 L VCM
A beautiful lens for documentary-style photography, street photography, and lifestyle portraits. The f/1.4 aperture allows for stunning bokeh and low-light performance.
Recommended for: Travel, street, everyday carry

Sigma EF 85mm f/1.4
Possibly one of my favorite lenses for portrait photography. It delivers sharp, flattering images with creamy bokeh. The autofocus isn’t as fast as Canon’s RF lenses, but the image quality is exceptional.
Recommended for: Portraits, fashion, beauty photography

For compressed backgrounds and dreamy portraits, this is an essential zoom lens. It’s also perfect for events, sports, and wildlife photography.
Recommended for: Weddings, events, sports, wildlife

Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L
The ultimate all-in-one zoom lens. If I could only take one lens on a trip, this would be it. Great for everything from landscapes to portraits.
Recommended for: Travel, everyday use, professional versatility

Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L
A must-have prime lens for stunning portraits. The f/1.2 aperture gives a beautiful depth of field, perfect for cinematic shots.
Recommended for: Portraits, fine art, lifestyle photography

Lomography Petzval RF 55mm f/1.7
For something quirky and artistic, this lens delivers dreamy swirly bokeh and vintage vibes. I don’t use it every day, but it’s a fun lens to experiment with.
Recommended for: Creative portraiture, experimental photography

The perfect standard prime for the GFX 100S II. It delivers insane detail and beautiful color rendition. A staple for studio and editorial work.
Recommended for: High-end portrait and commercial photography
Of course, cameras and lenses are just part of the story. Lighting is huge, and I use a mix of continuous lighting and flashes depending on the shoot. The Godox SL60W Kit is my go-to for product photography and controlled studio work - affordable, reliable, and it just works. For shaping and directing light, I love the Aputure Fresnel 2X Lens - great for cinematic lighting effects. And when I need something quick and versatile, the Godox V1 & V1Pro C flashes have been solid performers, especially on location. These extras might not get the spotlight, but they make a big difference in my workflow.
