Before the shoot, we’ll talk about what the photographs are for and the kind of look you want to achieve.
We’ll arrange a location that works for the style of your shoot, and I can help with simple questions around clothing, backgrounds and what will photograph well.
During the session, I’ll guide you through positioning and expressions rather than expecting you to know what to do in front of the camera.
Afterwards, your finished photographs will be professionally edited and delivered digitally in high resolution, ready to use.

What do you need the photographs for?
A LinkedIn headshot might need a different feel from an acting portrait or an image for your own creative business. Knowing where the photographs will appear helps us plan the shoot properly.
How do you want to come across?
Approachable, confident, creative, polished, relaxed — or somewhere in between. You don’t need to know exactly what you want, but a general direction is useful.
What should you wear?
Something you feel comfortable and confident in. Simple options usually photograph well, and bringing a second outfit can give you a bit more variety.
Where should we shoot?
Your surroundings can completely change the feel of a headshot. Depending on what you need, we can choose a location and background that feels appropriate to you and your work.
And if you hate having your photograph taken?
You are very much not alone. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands, that part is my job.
